Reid Cullers

Senior Project Manager

In Reid’s over 15 years at Shapiro & Company Architects, he has been given a myriad of challenging project types including senior housing, Multi-Family housing, affordable housing, and high-end residential homes. He has managed over $765 million worth of Multi-Family Construction, with $180 million on the boards. As Senior Project Manager, Reid provides team support by navigating building code and accessibility compliance along with diving into the challenges of construction detailing. Staff seek out his leadership and knowledge to ensure high-quality projects are delivered on time and within budget. Reid has been very successful in his 23 years of working in architecture, however his proudest professional accomplishment was having a disabled woman thank him for designing her an accessible apartment unit designed to fit her needs making the time and effort towards the project design absolutely worth it.

Reid is an active participant in numerous national and regional building-related conferences and seminars throughout the year. He is also an active member of the 55+ Housing Industry Council, Project Management Institute and the West Tennessee Home Builders Association.

Reid loves to spend time at the properties he designs after their completion to meet the tenants and gain feedback and understanding of how they interact with his designs on a day-to-day basis. His proudest moments come when he meets tenants whose lives have been positively affected by his design. When he is out of the office, Reid would like to say you can find him in the crowd of a Dave Matthews Band concert. However, it is far more likely he would be found at a cheerleading competition rooting on one of his daughters.
