Current Opportunities
Architectural Designer
Duties:
-
Thorough understanding of architectural concepts, spatial relationships, and knowledge of building systems.
-
Familiarity with Building Codes, Zoning, and ADA/Fair Housing.
-
Collaborate with other disciplines to produce integrated project documents.
-
Work capable and independently, often with little supervision.
-
Lead the development of innovative design concepts for a variety of residential buildings.
-
Using Design software tools such as AutoCAD Revit, Rhino, SketchUp.
-
Create compelling visualizations and presentations to communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
-
Produce and oversee the preparation of detailed construction drawings and specifications.
-
Ensure that all design documentation meets quality standards and project requirements.
-
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into design solutions.

Present designs to clients and gather feedback for design refinement.

Requirements:
-
Must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Engineering, or closely related and 2 years of wood-framed structure experience, including:
-
Design software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp
-
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for producing compelling presentations and visualization
-
Develop construction documents including plans, sections, elevations, and details
-
Conceptualize and draft initial design ideas for commercial projects
-
Creation of design presentiations and client proposals through sketches, 3D models, and digital renderings
-
Employer will also accept a master’s degree in architecture, architectural engineering or closely related
