Désirée Masturzi, Associate AIA

Désirée brings a strong integration of architectural design and building engineering to every project. A native of Bari, Italy, she earned her Master of Science in Building Engineering – Architecture from Politecnico di Bari in 2013. Since joining Shapiro & Company Architects in 2018, she has supported both multifamily and single-family projects, translating design concepts into practical, buildable solutions while overseeing technical detailing and problem-solving.

Known for her thorough, solutions-driven approach, Désirée ensures projects maintain quality, constructability, and alignment with schedule and budget goals.

Désirée provides technical leadership, design insight, and disciplined execution from concept through completion.
