Shapiro & Company Architects was recognized in BUILD's 2019 Architecture Awards for Southside Flats in Knoxville, Tennessee, named Best Multi-Family Residential Development in Tennessee. The 172-unit apartment community offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes — ranging from 700 to 1,245 square feet — across three buildings with a three-story and split three/four-story configuration. The same BUILD program named Shapiro & Company Residential Architecture Firm of the Year for Tennessee in 2019.
