Home of the Year-- Shapiro & Company sweeps BALA

For most firms, claiming the "home of the year" title might just be an arguable opinion stated to boast a recent design.

For Shapiro & Company, the title "Home of the Year" is a statement of fact.

The National Association of Home Builders is one of the industry leaders in residential design, making themselves a top authority with their annual Best in American Living Awards. This award series receives applications from across the country with a panel of judges who are leaders of design in their own right. An award from this series is a decisive display of who's-who in the design world.

In the 2024 season, the best designs took home silver or gold awards in categories based on square footage. From the top homes in consideration, judges had to make a final decision on which home of all the categories was the Home of the Year.

The "Midtown Modern Tudor", a Shapiro & Company custom home in Memphis, TN, was given the highest accolade of the year with the distinction as the BALA 2024 Home of the Year, beating out the competition and securing Shapiro & Company's place as a top custom home designer in the U.S.A.
